Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania: With the acquiring landscape changing all the time, it is always imperative to keep innovating new services and solutions that help overcome current challenges, meet the current market requirements and cater for meet future needs.
ECS is currently busy in the background working on some new channels for POS/Merchant transaction acquiring to address these very needs. The new channels are specifically aimed at overcoming challenges faced in the current hardware based POS environment, connectivity challenges as well as provide better means for greater coverage.
In the works are 2 new POS Solutions. A Voice based POS Acquiring solution based on IVR technology is set to provide merchants with authorization processing services over a simple phone call and a web based/browser based card processing environment is set to backup/replace existing POS terminals.
More details will be published in the respective products section as they become available. The new products are tentatively set for launch in the first quarter of 2012.
